ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Teresa Ledford has served as a pianist and keyboardist in churches of various denominations and worship styles for over thirty-four years. She earned a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

From 1998–2021, Teresa was part of the keyboard editorial staff at Hal Leonard, the world’s largest music print publisher. She compiled, edited and/or produced sheet music, songbooks and instructional materials for piano, ukulele, guitar and other instruments. She also coauthored The Worship Piano Method with Wendy Stevens. Teresa continues to work with Hal Leonard on a freelance basis.

Teresa founded My Worship Store LLC in 2021 with a mission to provide high-quality resources for worship leaders, musicians, and hobbyists. Her vision is to help Christians sing and play “skillfully to the Lord” (Psalm 33:3), both individually and corporately.
